La Cuna is currently recruiting for foster parents to provide safe, stable, and
loving homes to
foster infants and toddlers. Requirements to become a La Cuna foster parent include:
- Health/TB test
- Resident of San Diego County
- DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance
- Screening and 24 hour training
- Home Study/Inspection
Pre-screening
The decision to bring a child into your heart and home is an important one. Not
every applicant meets all the criteria required to become a certified parent. Due
to the volume of applicants we can only respond to those applicants who meet the
pre-screening criteria. Should you meet the criteria in the prescreening we will
contact you within the next two weeks to continue the next step in the application
